On Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 10:00 AM the New Bedford Housing Authority will hold a Public Hearing in the Boa Vista Senior Center, 134 South Second Street, New Bedford, MA regarding the proposed federal Five-Year Plan and Annual Plan. These plans describe the mission of the Housing Authority; its goals, objectives, programs and services; and its strategy for handling operational and residents’ concerns for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2018.
The proposed plans describe the Authority’s long range capital improvement activities and projects. Copies of the plans will be available for review July 21, 2017 at City Clerk’s Office, NBHA Administrative Office, 128 Union Street, 4th floor New Bedford, MA 02740, and the management offices at Bay Village, Brickenwood, Westlawn, Dottin Place and Presidential Heights.
