PUBLIC HEARING – October 27, 2026

On October 27, 2026, at 9:00am the New Bedford Housing Authority will hold a virtual hearing regarding the proposed State Capital Improvement Plan and State Annual plan.

These proposed plans describe the mission of the Housing Authority, the Authority’s long-range capital improvement projects, its goals, objectives, programs & services & its strategy for handling operational & resident concerns for fiscal year effective January 1, 2027.

Copies of the plan will be available for review on September 11, 2026, at the City Clerk’s Office, NBHA Administrative Office at 128 Union Street 4th floor & the property offices located at 473 Dartmouth St., Blue Meadows Family Development, 12 Ruth St., Tripp Towers, & 725 Pleasant St., The New Bedford Hotel. Participation, suggestions & comments are welcomed.
