Legal Notice – Public Hearing on Sept. 24th at 9:00 am (Zoom)

On September 24, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. EST, the New Bedford Housing Authority will hold a virtual hearing regarding the proposed 2027 Federal Annual Plan and Capital Improvement Plan. These proposed plans describe the mission of the Housing Authority, the Authority’s long-range capital improvement projects, its goals, objectives, programs, services & its strategy for handling operational & resident concerns for fiscal year effective January 1, 2027.

Copies of the plan will be available for review on August 10, 2026, at the New Bedford, MA City Clerk’s Office, the New Bedford Housing Authority Administrative Office at 128 Union Street 4th floor & the New Bedford Housing Authority property offices located at Bay Village, 242 Acushnet, Ave., Westlawn, 197 liberty St., Brickenwood, 52 Walker St., Dottin Place, 8 Amanda Ave., & Presidential Heights, 159 Fillmore St.
